Tim Walker will be part of the line up of Artist Talks at Latitude Festival 2013. Walker will be speaking on Friday 19th July 2013 followed by a screening of his short film The Lost Explorer.

'Tim Walker: Dreamscapes' showing at The Bowes Museum from Saturday 25th May - Sunday 1st September 2013. 

Curated by Greville Worthington, this exhibition will explore Walker’s work beyond the pages of Fashion Editorials and for the very first time will be displayed on light boxes.

During a ceremony that celebrated the rich variety to be found in photography today Tim Walker was awarded an honorary fellowship by The Royal Photographic Soceity. Other recipients included were photographers Douglas Allan, Rineka Dijkstra, Rinko Kawauchi and Sally Mann.

The Lost Explorer film forms part of the 'Brief Exposures' section of the Berwick-Upon-Tweed Film & Media Arts Festival 2012.

The film is showing at The Maltings Theatre & Cinema on 23rd September 2012 at 5pm.

Walker's work is featured in the 'Coming into Fashion' exhibition which is touring Europe during 2012 and 2013.

To go alongside the exhibition Thames & Hudson have published a book of images which takes a look at the history of fashion photography through the Condé Nast archives.

October 18th 2012 will see the opening of Walker's major new show, Story Teller, at Somerset House in London. Open until January 2013, the show is supported by Mulberry.

To coincide with the show, Thames and Hudson are publishing Story Teller the book, featuring over 175 images, collages and snapshots from Walker's personal archives, many on display in the  exhibition.

This week The Lost Explorer has won the jury award at The Chicago Film festival 2011 for 'Best Short Film'.

An episode of 'Picturing Britain' which features Walker will be aired on Sunday 11th September at 2.45pm on BBC Radio 4. It will be available to listen again to on the BBC iplayer.

The Lost Explorer film has been selected to screen at the 3rd annual Chicago United Film Festival this September.

It will be screened on Tuesday 13th September at 5.30pm at the Music Box Theatre.

Walker filmed the artist Linder Sterling's film 'Forgetful Green' which was premiered at the Frieze Festival 2010 and also aired on Channel 4 in the UK. Watch the film here...

'The Lost Explorer' was officially selected by The Locarno Film Festival and Premiered in Locarno, Switzerland in August 2010.

Walker directed his first short film which is based on the novel 'The Lost Explorer' by British Author Patrick McGrath. The film runs for 20 mins and premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.
